1. Service description

AI for Academic provides AI-powered tools for academic research workflows — including literature search, manuscript drafting, citation checking, and prose polishing. The service is available at aiforacademic.world.

2. Acceptable use

• Use the tools for legitimate academic and research purposes.
• Do not upload documents containing protected health information (PHI), classified data, or content that violates applicable laws.
• Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, abuse rate limits, or interfere with the service.

3. Your content

You retain all rights to the documents and manuscripts you upload. We process your content only to deliver the requested tool output. We do not use your content to train AI models.

4. AI output disclaimer

AI-generated outputs (drafts, reviews, suggestions) are provided as research assistance, not as definitive academic or clinical advice. You are responsible for reviewing, verifying, and editing all outputs before use in publications or submissions.

5. Free and paid tiers

Free-tier users receive daily usage limits. Paid subscriptions unlock higher limits and are billed through LemonSqueezy (international) or SePay (Vietnam). Refund requests can be made within 7 days of purchase by contacting contact@aiforacademic.world.

6. Availability

We aim for reasonable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

7. Limitation of liability

AI for Academic is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to errors in AI-generated output.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.
